Wave Spring

Wave springs often abbreviated as wave washers. As elastic components with multiple peaks and valleys on a thin circular metal ring. They are typically used in situations where both the load and deflection are small, and where a lower spring rate with axial preload is required. Wave springs are especially suitable for applications where weight reduction is needed and when installation space is limited. Typical areas of use include precision machinery, hydraulic seals, and high-end motors, among others.
